Burlesque Wedding in a Spiegletent

WOW what a week I have had!!  Last week I was walking through Christchurch Park and I saw DanceEast had set up a Spiegletent with loads of wonderful events and shows for all to be involved in, it looked fantastic.  As soon as I got home I googled Spiegeltents and discovered you could hire one for your wedding though the amazing tent company...  Me being me… I just couldn’t stop thinking about how cool it would be to get married in one… then I thought maybe I could put together a bridal shoot. So that’s what I did in 6 days!

Traditionally the Spiegeltent is a show tent so I themed my shoot burlesque… think feathers, pearls, top hat and THE dress.  I contacted the Suffolk based AMAZING couture designer Terry Fox.  She agreed to lend me a dress named ‘Jadore’, Dance East agreed to let me use the tent in between shows, I got a sexy model, I found an amazing make up artist – Keisha-paris Akuma Banya, arranged hair to be styled by the fabulous Bohemia Hair, sourced a cane and a 1920′s  Lock & Co. Vintage Top hat from Hubbard Antiques, agreed to have gorgeous hearts a flutter jewellery and found the most amazing florist – Michael Pooley from TWIG!  I am very grateful for Nicola Pawsey’s help on the day with styling the model!

I felt like I was getting married again!!! My styled shoot came together in just under a week… and here are the results – I hope this brings inspiration to all those planning your wedding.
