Adam + Nicola (Married!) Smeetham Hall Barn, ESSEX

On Saturday I was honoured to witness the marriage of two of the most genuinely gorgeous people.  You may have seen Nicola and Adam’s pre-wedding shoot.  The weather reporters predicted rain so they bought umbrellas which meant that the sun shone all day!!  Nicola got ready at The George in Cavendish, Suffolk and the wedding took place at the stunning Smeetham Hall Barn just down the road in Essex.  I really felt like the wedding ran so smoothly for them with no stresses and everything as it should be and I think a big part of this was down to the staff at Smeetham Hall Barn they were super organised and wow, what a stunning place.  Nicola had made just about everything, she truly proved herself as Miss crafty!  She even made the coat hangers that the dresses hung from. The butterfly name place cards were ingenious (see photo!) and the centre pieces on each table were a gift from a guest, the wood came from a tree that was being chopped up.

Nic made the mini Nicola and Adam for the top of the cake and the dress was so similar that a brown paper bag was placed over the top so as not to ruin the surprise for Adam!

Yum… I LOVE FOOD… these puddings were AMAZING!!!!

Some of the most emotional and heartfelt wedding speeches I’ve ever witnessed.  I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the place (including me!).
